EN:
Hello to all Td2 players,
in this forum post I would like to talk about a near accident in Czermin station and also remind again how important is the safety in railroad traffic.
But from the beginning, what happened?
The train 22702 almost crashed into the train 99731 in flank from the right. A serious accident could only be prevented by the quick reaction of the dispatcher by means of a Radiostop.
The sequence of events up to the Radiostop:
The train with the number 22702 received its timetable and was given permission by the dispatcher to shunt to Tm 8 and should wait there for train 99731.
The train 22702 accelerated against the approval of the dispatcher to more than 25 km/h and ran over the Tm 8 which showed Ms1.
Radiostop was triggered immediately and both trains came to a halt without collision.
The consequences:
Even if the dispatcher threatened with a complaint, the driver of train 22702 immediately apologized and also acknowledged his mistake. Therefore, the dispatcher refrained from a complaint.
Final words:
Without the reaction of the dispatcher, this accident would have had unforeseeable consequences for both trains. I would like to point out to every player, no matter if level 20 or level L, that shunting has to be done with at least 25 km/h and that the track as well as the signals have to be observed. I must also possibly criticize myself that I have not told the train 22702 that his shunting road goes only to Tm 8 and He should wait there but in the end it remains that the driver of train 22702 would have been responsible for this accident.
Since I myself am not (yet) part of the railroad family, I am looking forward to your assessment whether you might have acted differently.
I say thank you for reading and have a nice day or evening.

PL:
Witam wszystkich graczy Td2,
Sekwencja zdarzeń do momentu uruchomienia Radiostacji:
