Hi everyone,

I have discovered this game lately and found it interesting. Been trying to give it a go but can't figure out how to operate the trains. There is a "Starters Guide" link in International Forum section here, but when I click it, it says "this page is temporarily unavailable." If anyone can lead me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I actually managed to get the train to run and drive until the next station, but I am sure I am missing a lot of things like road sign, proper departure/arrival procedures etc. I really want an English guide if there is any.

Hello :)

Since the page you're referring to has gone out of service, a new manual in English is under development. In the meantime, you can use WebArchive to get to the copy of this page, that luckily has been saved:

Don't be discouraged when "301" errors occur - you'll just have to wait a while before redirecting to a proper page.

Please note that the manual refers to an older version of Train Driver 2 and a few things might look and/or work a bit differently now. However, vast majority of content is very much up-to-date. Especially when it comes to signs and signals - they haven't changed since then. ;)

Let me give you a little advice - it's a good practice to get to know the game in the singleplayer mode before entering the multiplayer. It's easier then to find yourself in the game when the interaction with other players is involved.
