GPS for Begginers
« dnia: 13 Czerwca 2022, 12:46:56 »
Hello there,i just started playing the game and so far i love it,but there's one thing that it seems a bit difficult for me and maybe for other begginers.I'm still getting used to stoping at stations correctly, most of the time i miss the station stop by 1 km because i miss the signs and i don't even know how far the station is or how long till i reach it.Also i've noticed that stations have no names,in my instance at least, while approaching the station i don't know which station is from the tabletime.I think a gps or something similar can be helpful to new begginers, something that can be turned on or of depending on your choice. I know that more experienced players might want to turn it off,but for begginers is something to help us out. Thank you

First of all, you have to distinguish between a station and a railway stop. There are semaphores at the station, there are not always platforms (e.g. at Gora Włodowska or Psary there are no platforms, and it is a technical station [stth]), but often there are. At the station trains can start and stop, change direction, pass and overtake other trains. The station has at least one main track, which is an extension of the track from an open line, and at least one extra main track, which branches off from the main track.

In the case of a railway stop (marked "po." in the schedule) the indicator "W 16" is set in the braking distance. This is a horizontal rectangle on a white background with three diagonal black bands. This is a signal to the driver that it is time (or about to) start braking if you have a "ph" there.
